Each student must have a registration appointment before they can enroll in classes
each term. Appointments indicate the day and time students may begin their registration
for the term. You can check your appointment day and time on MyECC.

Students should register on the date and time of their appointment to ensure a schedule that will best fit your needs. Try using the tool Schedule Builder to build a schedule that meets your needs. Follow the instructions for Schedule Builder
In compliance with Section 58108 of Title 5, California Administrative Code, enrollment priorities will be implemented as described in the El Camino College Board Policy and Procedure 5055 (Enrollment Priorities). You may access the Administrative Procedure and Board Policy at the links below.
Continuous Enrollment for Priority Registration
Enrollment in courses and programs may be limited to students meeting established prerequisites, corequisites, intercollegiate competition, and public performances.
Enrollment may also be limited due to the following:
- Number of students that may enroll in a class subject to ‘first come, first serve’ or due to health and safety considerations
- Facility limitations
- Faculty workload
- Availability of qualified instructors
- Funding limitations
- Constraint of regional planning
- Legal requirements imposed by statues, regulations, or contracts
- Course Repetition (if it is the third time for an enrollment in the class you must be preapproved before you will be permitted to enroll). (Course Repetition PDF)
Schedule of Classes
Before the registration period for each term, the college publishes and post online a Schedule of Classes (a listing of the classes offered that term and general registration information including payment deadline).
Schedule of Classes can be purchased in the bookstore for $1.00 or viewed online. You can also use Schedule Builder http://www.elcamino.edu/academics/tools-resources/schedule-builder/
